domangia vs Bistrosoft: what each one publishes, and what "starting at" hides

Bistrosoft publishes three plans, and all three begin with "Desde" — starting at — and end with an advisor. Here is what its page does say, what Bistrosoft has that domangia does not, and the six things we could not verify.

Everything we say about a competitor comes from its own website. If something changed after that date, this page is out of date and the source wins.

What Bistrosoft has and domangia does not

These go first. If any one of them is non-negotiable for your venue, the answer is Bistrosoft, and it is better to know now than after signing.

  • Electronic invoicing bundled into a plan

Bistrosoft issues electronic invoices, with one detail that sits in a footnote on its own pricing page and runs against what you would expect: the invoicing module is included only in the Licencia Web plan, not in Avanzado or Premium. domangia issues through ARCA too, with CAE, but as a separate add-on on top of the base plan. What domangia does not drive is fiscal printers or controllers.

  • Card payment processing

Bistrosoft integrates payment terminals and its page says that integration comes at no cost. domangia does not process payments: it records the payment with its method and its till, and the money moves through the tools you already use.

  • Delivery apps

PedidosYa and Rappi with native integration, plus a control panel for integrations. domangia integrates with none of them.

  • Regional presence

It has its own sites in Argentina, Mexico and Spain. domangia has no local sites.

When Bistrosoft is the right pick

Five cases where the reasonable answer is Bistrosoft and not us.

  • If you need to invoice and Licencia Web is enough

It is the only one of its three plans that includes the invoicing module, per the footnote on its page. It is also the entry plan, so invoicing does not force you up a tier.

  • If you sell a lot through PedidosYa and Rappi

Native integration with both, and a dashboard to see the state of the integrations without opening each app.

  • If you want the payment terminal wired up at no cost

Its page states that payment terminal integration carries no charge.

  • If you operate in Mexico or Spain

It has its own site in both, on top of Argentina.

  • If you need API and multi-venue in the same package

Both are in the Premium plan, without adding licences.

When domangia is the right pick

Five where ours is, and the first one is what stands out most when you put the two pricing pages side by side.

  • If you want a firm price

All three Bistrosoft plans say "starting at" and send you to an advisor, so none of them is a list price. And its four extra licences — Bistro Móvil, Salón, Cocina and Facturación — publish no price at all. Here every module has one, served by the same catalogue that bills you.

  • If more than one person uses the system

Bistrosoft's Licencia Web is a single user, and unlimited users start at the Avanzado plan. In domangia they are unlimited on every plan; the only thing billed per person is time tracking, and only from the eleventh employee on.

  • If you want to try it before talking to anyone

domangia gives 30 days and asks for no card. Bistrosoft publishes no free trial: its "Probalo Gratis" button leads to a demo form.

  • If you need stock without moving up a tier

In Bistrosoft, stock, costing and recipes start at the Avanzado plan. Here stock is a module added to the base plan, and removed whenever you want.

  • If you want to connect your AI assistant

domangia connects to ChatGPT or Claude and it comes with the base plan. Bistrosoft publishes an API on its Premium plan; its site does not say it connects to ChatGPT or Claude, nor that the API is publicly documented.

The tables, and why we do not convert currencies

domangia is priced in US dollars. Fudo publishes in US dollars and in Argentine pesos; Bistrosoft and Maxirest, in pesos. Every amount is shown in the currency its owner publishes it in. Converting would mean picking an exchange rate and a date, and the result would go stale in a week while still looking like a hard number. Peso amounts keep the source formatting — a dot as the thousands separator — and carry an ARS prefix so they cannot be read as dollars.

What each one publishes

Row by row, what each site says. "Their site does not say" means we could not find it published.

Item domangia Bistrosoft
Monthly price A base plan with a published price, plus the modules you add, each with its own. All served by the catalogue that bills you. Licencia Web starting at ARS 20.900 + VAT. Avanzado starting at ARS 68.000 + VAT. Premium starting at ARS 99.000 + VAT. All three say "starting at" and send you to an advisor.
Users Unlimited on every plan. The only thing billed per person is time tracking, from the eleventh employee on. 1 user on Licencia Web. Unlimited from the Avanzado plan.
Free trial 30 days, no credit card. Publishes no free trial. The "Probalo Gratis" button leads to a demo form.
Stock, costing and recipes Separate module with a published price, on the same base plan. From the Avanzado plan.
More than one venue Additional venue with a published price. The first one comes with the base plan. Multi-venue from the Premium plan, at a "starting at" price.
Electronic invoicing Yes. Issuing through ARCA with CAE, one at a time and in batches, as a separate add-on. No fiscal printer. Yes. Per the footnote on its page, the module is included only in Licencia Web: not in Avanzado or Premium.
Card payments No. domangia does not process payments; it records the payment with its method and its till. Payment terminal integration at no cost. Its page shows the logos and does not say which terminals they are.
PedidosYa and Rappi No. domangia integrates with neither. Both, with native integration and an integrations control panel.
Extra licences None: modules are switched on and off, and each has its price. Bistro Móvil, Salón, Cocina and Facturación. None publishes a price.
Connecting ChatGPT or Claude Yes, and it comes with the base plan. Publishes an API on the Premium plan. Its site does not say it connects to ChatGPT or Claude.
Declared reach domangia is a new product and we say so up front. Declares "more than 25,000 venues in more than 8 countries". On the same page it says "we are in Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay and Spain". The two statements do not match.

The table scrolls sideways.

Bistrosoft's plans, as its site publishes them

The "starting at" is theirs, not ours: all three prices send you to an advisor.

Plan Published price What it includes, per its page
Licencia Web Starting at ARS 20.900 + VAT Up to 500 invoices, 20 tables, 1 user and 1 menu. The only plan that includes the invoicing module.
Avanzado Starting at ARS 68.000 + VAT Unlimited users, stock, costing and recipes, and delivery. Without the invoicing module.
Premium Starting at ARS 99.000 + VAT API, multi-venue and online store. Without the invoicing module.

The table scrolls sideways.

All three prices are "+ VAT", so the number above is not what you pay. That invoicing sits only in the entry plan comes from a footnote on its own pricing page.

What Bistrosoft's site does not answer

Six things we looked for and could not find published. These are the questions worth taking to the call with the advisor.

  • Which payment terminals it integrates: its page shows the logos, with no text naming them.
  • What the four extra licences cost: Bistro Móvil, Salón, Cocina and Facturación.
  • How long the trial lasts, if there is one: it publishes none.
  • The year it was founded.
  • Whether it works with a fiscal controller.
  • Whether its API is publicly documented.

"Their site does not say" means exactly that: we could not find it published. It does not mean they do not have it.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Bistrosoft cost?

Its page publishes three plans: Licencia Web starting at ARS 20.900 + VAT, Avanzado starting at ARS 68.000 + VAT and Premium starting at ARS 99.000 + VAT. All three say "starting at" and send you to an advisor, so they are not firm prices, and none of its four extra licences publishes a price. Verified on September 10, 2026.

Does Bistrosoft have a free trial?

Its site publishes none. The "Probalo Gratis" button leads to a demo form. domangia gives 30 days and asks for no credit card.

Which Bistrosoft plan invoices?

Per the footnote on its own pricing page, the invoicing module is included only in Licencia Web: it does not come with Avanzado or Premium. It is the detail most easily missed when comparing, because it runs against what you would expect.

Does domangia issue electronic invoices?

Yes. It issues electronic tax receipts through ARCA — invoice, credit note and debit note, each with its CAE — one at a time when you take payment or in a batch with the period's sales, and it is a separate add-on. It does not drive fiscal printers or controllers. And there is a different thing worth not confusing with it: it also checks a supplier’s tax ID against the ARCA register before you buy from them.

How many users does each one allow?

In domangia, all of them: there is no per-seat or per-device licence, and the only thing billed per person is time tracking from the eleventh employee on. In Bistrosoft, Licencia Web is a single user and unlimited starts at the Avanzado plan.

How many venues use Bistrosoft?

It declares "more than 25,000 venues in more than 8 countries", and on the same page it says "we are in Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay and Spain". Both statements are on its site and they do not match each other. We quote both and do not pick.
