Comparison
domangia vs Maxirest: one plan with a price, three without, and two contradictions on its own site
Maxirest has been around since 1991 and has the largest field support network of the three. It also publishes a single price across its whole site, and that site says two different things about VAT and two about extra charges. All four sentences are below, verbatim.

Everything we say about a competitor comes from its own website. If something changed after that date, this page is out of date and the source wins.
What Maxirest has and domangia does not
Six of them, and several are strong. They go first and unsoftened: if one of them is what your venue needs, the answer is Maxirest.
-
Electronic invoicing included in the price
In Maxirest issuing comes included in the plan, with no separate add-on. domangia issues through ARCA too, with CAE, but as a separate add-on on top of the base plan. And it does not drive fiscal printers or controllers.
-
Card payment processing
Among its integrations it publishes Mercado Pago, Clover, Payway and Alax. Clover is listed as "ask for pricing". domangia does not process payments: it records the payment with its method and its till.
-
Delivery apps
The longest list of the three: PedidosYa, Rappi, Waitry, másDelivery, Tucán and Order Fast. Waived for 180 days; after that, "ask about the additional cost". domangia integrates with none of them.
-
Working without internet
Its point of sale is installed and runs locally, and its Terms (1.3) say this allows "continuous operation even when the internet service is interrupted". domangia needs a connection: if it drops, you stop operating.
-
Support with an address and a phone number
30 official agents with an address and a phone number across 22 provinces, plus published support phone numbers and hours. For a venue outside the big cities that is very concrete, and neither Fudo nor Bistrosoft publishes anything equivalent. Nor do we: domangia support is by email.
-
Track record and certification
Since 1991, as Maxisistemas S.R.L. A CESSI member since 2008 and ISO 9001 certified, with the certificate linked from its site. domangia is a new product.
When Maxirest is the right pick
Four cases where the reasonable answer is Maxirest and not us.
-
If your venue is far away and you want someone who can show up
30 official agents with an address and a phone number across 22 provinces. It is the most concrete advantage among the three competitors, and we do not have it.
-
If your connection drops and you cannot stop selling
The point of sale is installed and runs locally, and it is written into its Terms rather than only into the brochure.
-
If you buy on track record and certification
Since 1991, CESSI since 2008 and ISO 9001 with a link. That is more history than a new product can show, and for many businesses it counts.
-
If you want invoicing and card payments without adding modules
Electronic invoicing is included in the price, and it publishes integrations with Mercado Pago, Clover, Payway and Alax.
When domangia is the right pick
Five where ours is, and the first one comes straight from Maxirest's own site.
-
If you want to know what you will pay
Its page contradicts itself about VAT, and its Terms provide for usage-based and transactional charges underneath a headline that says "no hidden costs". All four sentences are below, verbatim. Here every price is published and served by the catalogue that bills you.
-
If you do not want to depend on a Windows PC
Maxirest requires Windows 10 or 11 Professional 64-bit, with published hardware requirements, and recommends an ethernet connection rather than WiFi. domangia runs in the browser on the device you already have.
-
If delivery matters to you beyond the first six months
It is waived for 180 days and after that it is "ask about the additional cost". Its waivers apply "for the contracted period", not permanently.
-
If you want to pay only for what you use
Maxirest publishes one plan and mentions three more — Xpress, Pro and Point — in its technical requirements, with no price. Here modules are switched on and off one at a time, each with its own.
-
If you want to connect your AI assistant
domangia connects to ChatGPT or Claude and it comes with the base plan. Maxirest’s Terms mention "the consumption of Artificial Intelligence features" as a possible transactional charge; its site does not say it connects to ChatGPT or Claude.
Twice, its site says two things
All four sentences are Maxirest’s. Both halves of each pair are here because there is no way to know which one holds, and picking one would invent a certainty its page does not give.
On VAT
"suscripción mensual – IVA incluido" (monthly subscription – VAT included)On the price card, on its page.
"Los valores son de referencia al mes actual, no incluyen I.V.A., ni percepciones de II.BB." (values are indicative for the current month and do not include VAT or gross-income withholdings)In the footer of that same page.
Both are on the same page. That is why Maxirest's final price cannot be verified from its site: there is no way to tell whether ARS 65.000 is ARS 65.000 or ARS 65.000 plus VAT and withholdings.
On extra costs
"Tenelo todo a un precio único, sin costos ocultos" (get everything at a single price, with no hidden costs)In the headline of its pricing page.
"Expansiones Modulares", "cargos variables por Pago por Uso" and "cargos transaccionales… sobre transacciones cursadas… o sobre el consumo de funcionalidades de Inteligencia Artificial" (modular expansions, variable pay-per-use charges, and transactional charges on transactions processed or on the consumption of Artificial Intelligence features)In clause 2.9 of its Terms and Conditions.
A headline that says "no hidden costs" and a clause providing for three kinds of variable charge. Both are theirs; we do not pick which one weighs more.
The tables, and why we do not convert currencies
domangia is priced in US dollars. Fudo publishes in US dollars and in Argentine pesos; Bistrosoft and Maxirest, in pesos. Every amount is shown in the currency its owner publishes it in. Converting would mean picking an exchange rate and a date, and the result would go stale in a week while still looking like a hard number. Peso amounts keep the source formatting — a dot as the thousands separator — and carry an ARS prefix so they cannot be read as dollars.
What each one publishes
Row by row, what each site says. "Their site does not say" means we could not find it published.
| Item | domangia | Maxirest |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | A base plan with a published price, plus the modules you add, each with its own. | Single plan "Maxirest One": list ARS 86.000, promotional ARS 65.000 a month with 25 % off for three months. It is the only price published across the whole site. |
| Does that price include VAT? | The catalogue is in US dollars; what is charged and how is written on our pricing page. | Its site says both things: the card says "VAT included" and the footer says the values do not include VAT or gross-income withholdings. |
| Other plans | There are no tiers: there is a base plan and modules that switch on and off. | Xpress, Pro and Point appear in its technical requirements. None has a published price. |
| Free trial | 30 days, no credit card. | Its site publishes no free trial. |
| Where it runs | In the browser, on the device you already have. | Windows 10 or 11 Professional 64-bit, with published hardware requirements. Recommends an ethernet connection rather than WiFi. |
| If the internet drops | domangia needs a connection. | The point of sale is installed and runs locally. Its Terms (1.3) say this allows "continuous operation even when the internet service is interrupted". |
| Electronic invoicing | Yes. Issuing through ARCA with CAE, one at a time and in batches, as a separate add-on. No fiscal printer. | Included in the price. |
| Card payments | No. domangia does not process payments; it records the payment with its method and its till. | Publishes integrations with Mercado Pago, Clover, Payway and Alax. Clover is listed as "ask for pricing". |
| Delivery apps | No. domangia integrates with none of them. | PedidosYa, Rappi, Waitry, másDelivery, Tucán and Order Fast. Waived for 180 days; after that, "ask about the additional cost". |
| Support | By email. | Published phone numbers and hours, and 30 official agents with an address and a phone number across 22 provinces. |
| Connecting ChatGPT or Claude | Yes, and it comes with the base plan. | Its Terms mention "the consumption of Artificial Intelligence features" as a possible transactional charge. Its site does not say it connects to ChatGPT or Claude. |
| Track record | domangia is a new product and we say so up front. | Since 1991, as Maxisistemas S.R.L. A CESSI member since 2008 and ISO 9001 certified, with the certificate linked. |
| Declared reach | We publish no customer count: we are a new product. | Declares "more than 28,000 users". Users, not venues: it is not comparable with a venue count. |
The table scrolls sideways.
Maxirest's price, as its site publishes it
It is the only price across the whole site, and it is why this comparison cannot end in a total.
| Item | What its page says |
|---|---|
| Plan | Maxirest One, a single plan. |
| List price | ARS 86.000 |
| Promotional price | ARS 65.000 a month, with 25 % off for three months. |
| Taxes | Its page says both things: "VAT included" on the price card, and "do not include VAT or gross-income withholdings" in the footer. |
| Waivers | "For the contracted period", not permanent. Delivery waived for 180 days; after that, "ask about the additional cost". Clover and 24×7 support: "ask for pricing". |
| Other plans | Xpress, Pro and Point appear in its technical requirements, with no published price. |
The table scrolls sideways.
The quoted phrases are verbatim from its site and its Terms, translated in brackets where needed.

What Maxirest's site does not answer
Seven things we looked for and could not find published. The first one weighs most, because without it there is no final price.
- Whether the published price includes VAT: its own page says both things.
- What Xpress, Pro and Point cost.
- What delivery costs from day 181 on.
- Whether it offers a free trial: it publishes none.
- Which customers it has: it names none.
- Whether it has a public API.
- Whether it operates outside Argentina.
"Their site does not say" means exactly that: we could not find it published. It does not mean they do not have it.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Maxirest cost?
It publishes a single price across its whole site: the Maxirest One plan, with a list price of ARS 86.000 and a promotional price of ARS 65.000 a month with 25 % off for three months. Does Maxirest work without internet?
Its point of sale is installed and runs locally, and its Terms (1.3) say this allows "continuous operation even when the internet service is interrupted". domangia needs a connection and does not offer that.

Its site publishes the requirements: Windows 10 or 11 Professional 64-bit, with detailed hardware requirements, and it recommends an ethernet connection rather than WiFi. domangia runs in the browser on the device you already have.
Does Maxirest have extra costs?
Its headline says "get everything at a single price, with no hidden costs". Clause 2.9 of its Terms provides for "modular expansions", "variable pay-per-use charges" and "transactional charges… on transactions processed… or on the consumption of Artificial Intelligence features". Both sentences are theirs and we do not pick which one holds; what can be said is that the total is not verifiable from its site.
Does Maxirest have a free trial?
Its site publishes none. domangia gives 30 days and asks for no credit card.
How many customers does Maxirest have?
