Bars and breweries

Bar and brewery software

The bar dispatches its own lines and the kitchen its own, from the same order. The tab stays open per table all night and is paid once, with the full detail.

One order, two dispatches

In a bar the same order splits in two: the drinks come off the bar and the sharing plate out of the kitchen. Every line of the order carries its station, and each screen only sees its own — the bar does not fill up with kitchen tickets, nor the other way round.

Whatever is dispatched first is marked ready first, without waiting for the rest of the table, and the floor sees it at once. The kitchen display is a separate module; you can have one at the bar and one in the kitchen, each filtered by its station.

The open tab holds all night

A bar table orders six times in three hours. The tab opens once and keeps adding: every round joins the same tab, with what was ordered, when, and who took it. At the end it is charged once, with the full detail and whichever payment method applies.

And if the shift closes with tables still unpaid, those tabs stay alive for payment only: they are not lost and nothing more can be added to them. It is the answer to a situation that looks incoherent and is not.

The cost is in the bottle

In a bar the margin is decided behind the counter, not on the menu. With recipes entered, every drink sold deducts what it contains — the spirit, the juice, the can — and the movements stay in view, so a shortage shows up on Wednesday instead of on Saturday night.

Suppliers and their cost prices come with the base plan; purchase orders and stock control come with the inventory module. The cost of a drink stops depending on remembering what the case used to cost.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have a different menu depending on the hour?

Yes. Service periods decide which menu is shown, so the afternoon menu and the evening one are not the same and happy hour does not compete with dinner. It comes with the base plan.

How do I separate the bar from the kitchen?

Every dish or drink on the menu is sent to a station, and the kitchen display filters by that station. One screen at the bar, another in the kitchen, each seeing its own queue and not the other one. The kitchen display is a separate module.

Does it work for a brewery with several taprooms?

Yes. Each venue has its own menu, prices, floor plan and till, and they are managed from the same account. The first one comes with the base plan and each one you add has its own monthly price, with no charge per terminal and none per user.

Does it take card payments?

No. domangia does not process payments and is not integrated with any acquirer: you keep taking money with the tools you already use. What it does is record every payment with its method, its amount, who took it and against which till session, which is what makes the shift close cleanly.
